Deep Creek Lake

What an extended weekend we’re wrapping up on here at Deep Creek Lake and Wisp Resort!  We’ve had 8 inches of snow since Monday morning and another possible foot today and tonight.  The State Highway Administration has our total accumulation this season, as of Monday morning, at 205″. Our record seasonal snowfall is 233″ which I’m fairly confident we’ll blow by this year.

12^th Annual Deep Creek Dunk – February 27^th

Behind Uno’s Chicago Grill, Deep Creek Lake. Registration, 12:00 noon; Dunk, 2:00 pm. The Annual Deep Creek Dunk is fun for both the thrill seeker & the spectator. Dunkers take a quick dip in Deep Creek Lake to benefit the athletes of Special Olympics Maryland. Coordinated by the Maryland State Police and Natural Resources Police as well as local law enforcement. $50 minimum donation to dunk. Admission to view is free.
