Deep Creek Lake

Have you found your Deep Creek Lake hotel for this New Years?  Deep Creek Lake has some many great hotels to meet your needs its often hard to select the best option for your vacation or in this case your New years Eve Celebration!

New Years Eve 2010 at Deep Creek Lake Hotels

Suites At Silver Tree

This is one of the few lake front Deep Creek lake hotels out there.  Their property is fairly new and located between the Glendale bridge and route 219.  Their website offers many specials from romantic retreats to discounted Wisp Resort packages.  However, i was unable to find any advertised specials for New Years Eve packages.  I would recommend calling them directly or checking back at their website frequently.

Wisp Resort

Wisp Resort is a combination Deep Creek Lake Hotel and ski resort.  Its located at the north end of Deep Creek Lake and is easily accessible from route 219.  New Years Eve at Wisp Resort looks to be jammed packed with activities for adults and kids.  The event starts at 7:00pm and runs through midnight, ending with what hopes to be a spectacular fireworks show.

The event cost $20 for adult and $10 for the kids.  Based on the website it looks like you get a lot for the entrance fee.  Lost of games for the kids, big screen TV to watch the ball drop in Time Square, a live band and even free give-a-ways! The full details can be found on their website.  Make sure to check there first and even register in advance.

I was unable to find any specific hotel room discounts for New Years Eve but check the site as these things change often.

LakeStar Lodge

The LakeStar lodge has to be one of my favorite Deep Creek Lake hotels, if not my favorite.  Its so easy to get, sits right on the lake and has the best view of the Ski slopes you can find.  There is an added benefit which is all rooms face the lake and this New Years Eve you’ll be able to watch the New Years Eve fireworks right from your room if you wish to.  Or you can sit out on the (hopefully snow covered) lawn.

The LakeStar Lodge did not have a specific New Years Eve lodging discount posted, but they offered many great deals which might apply.  The best thing to do is to give them a call or visit their website for additional details.

Lakle Breez Motel

Ahhh, the Lake Breez.  Nestled comfortably next to the Will O’ the Wisp condo’s this spectacular little motel is a great place to spend New Years Eve.  Not to mention that its a short hop to the Honi Honi for their New Years Eve spectacular!

I checked the Lake Breez web site and could not find any mention of New Years Eve discounts or event, but again its just down the street from the Honi so their will be plenty to do at their New Years Eve event.

Rounding out New Years Eve at Deep Creek Lake

As you can see there are many local Deep Creek Lake hotels to choose from on New Years Eve this year.  Njot of of them have New Years eve envent or discounts, but that should not stop you from participating in the events around the lake.  Bottom-line is that you should book your New Years Eve hotel as soon as possible as they will book up quickly.
